5. Administrative Access & Data Processing
5.1 Technical Support Access
SignInPlusWiFi administrators (support@signinpluswifi.com) may access
your tenant dashboard for the following purposes:
- Technical support and troubleshooting
- Service quality monitoring and improvement
- Security incident response and investigation
- System maintenance, updates, and bug fixes
- Compliance with legal obligations
5.2 Access Logging & Transparency
All administrative access is automatically logged with:
- Date and time of access
- Administrator email address
- Tenant ID accessed
- Specific action performed
- IP address of administrator
You may request access logs at any time by contacting
privacy@signinpluswifi.com. We will provide logs within 72 hours.
5.3 Data Processing Agreement
SignInPlusWiFi acts as a Data Processor under GDPR Article 28.
By using our service, you agree that we will:
- Process data only for specified purposes: Support, maintenance, and service delivery
- Not use your data for any other purpose: We will never use customer data for marketing, analytics, or any purpose other than service provision
- Maintain confidentiality: All staff with access are bound by confidentiality agreements
- Implement security measures: Industry-standard encryption, access controls, and monitoring
- Delete or return data: Upon request or contract termination (within legal retention requirements)
- Notify of breaches: Within 72 hours of becoming aware of any data breach
5.4 Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access logs showing all administrative access to your account
- Request explanation of any administrative action
- Object to processing (though this may affect service delivery)
- Request data portability (export all your data)
- Request data deletion (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (UK) or your local data protection authority
5.5 Automatic SuperAdmin Assignment
When you create an account, support@signinpluswifi.com is automatically
added to your tenant's allowed users list with "superadmin" role. This
is necessary for:
- Providing technical support
- Troubleshooting system issues
- Maintaining service quality
This access can be audited but cannot be removed as it is essential
for service delivery. All access is logged as described in section 5.2.
5.6 Data Retention
We retain audit logs for 2 years for security and compliance purposes.
Customer data is retained for as long as your account is active, plus:
- 30 days after account cancellation (for recovery purposes)
- 7 years for financial records (UK legal requirement)
